For the RSS issues, message Apple from within Apple Podcast Connect. They are quite responsive. I had to do this a few times with Substack feeds, but never with feeds from other hosts.
Thanks - this doesn’t look like it’s an Apple problem, though. They are showing everything that’s in the RSS file. The episodes just aren’t IN the RSS file Substack is generating.
I found out this weekend from the experiment with the Audio Post type that they’re now making a separate RSS file for the People section. Tracking that down now …
I can not tell you how much easier it is to host on a traditional podcast host and then add a play button to the Substack posts. For example, Buzzsprout is $12 a month for I think 3 hours of upload. Fyi, no reply needed. Just wanted to share since I have hosted audio both ways.
